Bought this to replace an almost laughably long-in-the-tooth 9600GT. Installation was a slight hassle (If anyone else has trouble, I'd reccomend using the 12.2 catalyst drivers rather than the latests ones to start off with) but everything was up and running in about an hour. Used Catalyst Control Center to put a small overclock in place (Core @ 1Ghz, Mem @1300Mhz, no overvoltage) and it tore through BF3 in Dx11 with all graphical settings at 'ultra'. Absolutely astonished. I've heard of people managing to get it running faster than a stock 7970, which is very impressive given that it costs less than half the price. Put 2 in SLI and nothing will put even the slightest dent in your setup for quite a few years.

All this and the temperatures have not exceeded 58 degrees in a HAF 922 case. Very impressive. Cooler is so quiet I can hardly hear it at idle (my case fan completely drowns in out) and at load, a game is playing anyway, so what does it matter? I haven't noticed any noise issues at load.

Performance: 5/5
Ease of installation: 4/5
Overclocking: 5/5
Power/Heat: 5/5 (only needs one six pin!)......................
